During his 30-year career Jeff has covered all aspects of IP commercialisation for clients from multinational and large corporations through to investee companies of venture capital clients, and individual clients in the academic and not-for-profit sectors.
In 2007 he established Solubility to specialise in assisting creative clients in IP commercialisation law. He is in high demand to deliver presentations on IP and licensing to various clients, organisations and institutions, and has been the invited guest lecturer on Patents and Know HowLicensing in the post graduate subject of Licensing Law at the University of Melbourne since 2008.
In addition to his legal qualifications, Jeff has a strong technical base having completed a Bachelor of Science, majoring in Pharmacology.

Trinity was appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2019, after having joined Solubility as Practice Manager as the firm commenced its expansion in April 2014. In her role Trinity manages all aspects of the business’ operation, including client management, business development, marketing, HR, records management, accounts and administration.
After completing a Bachelor of Science from Melbourne University, majoring in Cell Biology and Zoology, Trinity re-located overseas for ten years. There she gained experience in Project and Event Management in a range of companies including a small family-owned and operated winery in Canada, NTL Cable Television in Ireland, and BHP Billiton in The Hague. On her return to Australia, Trinity continued to gain event management experience, and also worked as an Information Specialist at Exxon-Mobil, before joining Solubility.
She has led our recent brand relaunch and event and also successfully organised our fifth and tenth birthday celebrations.
Trinity also has a certificate in Interior Design from RMIT.
Louise joined Solubility in October 2018 with over 10 years of experience as an IP specialist assisting clients in contentious and non-contentious IP matters. Her varied practice has seen her work with a range of clients from boutique primary producers and local start-ups through to big pharma and multinational biosciences clients and government departments. Working in top tier and large private practice, and most recently as a sole practitioner, Louise has extensive experience in IP litigation (including infringement and validity challenges for patents, trademarks and copyright), IP commercialisation (including advising, drafting and reviewing distribution, supply and licensing agreements) and drafting and negotiating agreements on ownership and exploitation of IP rights.
She also has an excellent understanding of the Federal Court jurisdiction and court process having worked as a litigator for 7+ years and having served as an Associate at the Federal Court of Australia.
In addition to her legal qualifications, Louise has a strong technical base having completed a Bachelor of Science with Honours in Chemistry.

Suzy is a highly respected and trusted IP advisor and joined Solubility as a Senior Associate in January 2023 to establish our Sydney presence. Over the past 14 years at top tier and leading boutique firms in Melbourne and Sydney, Suzy has developed a deep understanding of intellectual property law across a range of industries, and a strong commitment to clients, including Pfizer, J&J, Servier, Fortescue Mining and Bayer, as well as local SMEs and creators in the arts.
Suzy has experience in providing corporate and commercial advice and as a team member in major takeovers, acquisitions and IPOs, as well as extensive pharmaceutical patent litigation experience. She has written a range of publications and regularly presented on hot topics in intellectual property law.
Qualifications
LLB (first class honours).
LLM, University of Turin in partnership with the World Intellectual Property Organisation (WIPO); first in class with score of 110/110. Final thesis was titled ‘Do we need best method? A review of the requirement in Australia with comparisons to the experience in the UK and USA’.
